About
Why we do this.
Wedding photography is often best when people forget the photographer is there. The strongest images tend to come from moments nobody arranged — a glance, a joke that lands, a parent quietly watching from the back row.
Instead of directing every moment, our approach focuses on observing the day and documenting it as it actually unfolds. We ask couples for very little: a rough schedule, a few names, and permission to stay out of the way.
The ghillie suit takes that philosophy to an unnecessarily logical conclusion.
It is, we’ll admit, a slightly absurd way to solve a real problem. But the problem is real: a visible photographer changes a room. An invisible one simply doesn’t. Everything else about the service — the training, the editing, the delivery — is exactly as serious as any other professional wedding photography studio. We just happen to be dressed as a hedge.
A note on discretion
Every photographer is briefed on your venue and schedule in advance, and positions themselves with the agreement of your venue or celebrant. Nothing is done without the knowledge and consent of the couple and the venue — only your guests are kept pleasantly in the dark.
